Effects of environmental media on the transmission of an inductive link in wireless microsystems

An inductive link between two magnetically coupled coils in wireless microsystems is modeled by considering an additional parasitic capacitive link to describe the effect of environmental media. With a system of inductor-capacitor passive wireless sensors, the effects of environmental media are studied theoretically and experimentally for the first time. Results suggest that the capacitive link is non-negligible when the distance between the two coupled coils is comparable with the coupling area, particularly when the environmental medium has a large dielectric constant.

环境监测技术是支撑和保障环境管理的重要基础,分析研判本领域颠覆性技术的发展态势,有利于加快推进我国生态文明建设与环保产业发展。本文结合文献计量与专利情报分析方法,全面分析评价国内外环境监测领域颠覆性技术的发展历程及最新态势。针对我国环保发展对环境监测技术的重大需求,提出了基于大数据融合的多介质环境与生态系统感知技术、基于新材料与器件的微型智能化环境要素传感技术、基于光谱质谱的环境痕量污染物快速在线监测技术以及基于卫星遥感的区域/全球生态环境要素的高分辨率遥感技术等发展方向,以期为我国环境管理与环保产业发展规划提供决策依据。
建筑环境智能监测与反馈系统——发展与应用 Article

室内环境质量对人们的健康和福祉有显著影响,环境参数的连续监测与用户反馈已成为建筑业和学术界普遍关注的问题之一。现有关于环境监测系统的研究大多关注于传感器精度与成本效益的提升,而忽略了环境与用户之间的交互作用。为此,本团队开发了一种建筑环境智能监测与反馈系统,即智能建筑环境监测器(IBEM),既解决了室内环境参数的高时空分辨率、大通量、精准监测难题,又实现了环境与用户之间的反馈交互和主客观数据的同步采集。在硬件层面,IBEM集成了温度、相对湿度、PM2.5、CO2及照度多类传感器,并通过结构和电路优化设计减小了传感器之间的相互干扰,其测试精度经过与标准仪器的比对实验得到了有效验证,结果显示IBEM与标准仪器的测量数据基本一致,相关性强、误差小(R2 > 0.97,拟合斜率介于1.01 和1.05 之间)。在软件层面,基于无线通信和云技术建立了Web 端和移动端的可视化平台与用户交互界面,形成了环境数据的信息流及环境数据与用户交互反馈的通路。目前,IBEM已在国内18 个城市的131 栋建筑中得到了广泛应用,测点数量共1188 个,典型应用场景包括了室内环境问题的靶向诊断、主客观环境数据的关联分析等。综上,IBEM为人居环境领域的学术研究和工程实践提供了重要技术支撑。

海底CO2地质封存是我国实现“双碳”目标的重要组成部分,但CO2泄露具有诱发海底地质灾害的风险,威胁海洋工程的安全建设,因此开展封存区环境地质监测对海洋碳封存实施具有重要的现实意义。本文在简要介绍海底CO2地质封存示范案例的基础上,阐述了海底封存区CO2泄露的致灾机制,结合实例梳理了典型CO2控释试验中的海洋环境监测技术,重点分析了与CO2泄露相关的环境地质监测技术,包括地震调查与监测、电阻率法监测技术、重力监测技术、海床变形监测技术以及沉积物孔隙压力监测技术等,展望了我国海底碳封存及其环境地质监测的未来发展前景。研究认为,今后应侧重封存区CO2泄露致灾机制与环境地质监测技术研究,建议在研发长时序、低成本并实时监测技术的基础上,结合封存区基线调查,建立和发展系统性、智能性的多维度灾害识别模型,构建多方面、多层次、多灾种的监测预警预报体系。

截至2017年,我国风电累计装机容量已连续8年位居世界第一。未来,我国风电发展依然会维持较高比例增长,在此形势下,迫切需要认清风能资源开发对生态和气候环境的影响,以保证风电可持续性发展。设立国家重大基础科学研究计划,组织开展风电开发的生态和气候效应研究是十分必要的。建议通过观测实验、机理分析、数值模拟、影响评估以及适应和减缓措施研究,提出2050年我国风电发展的规划布局;研究建立风电项目开发建设对生态和环境影响的评价方法和指标体系;建立国家风能开发区生态和气候环境监测网,并与全国风电场的运行有效联系,利用大数据和人工智能等技术,定期评估整体和局地的生态、气候环境效应。
Non-invasive continuous blood pressure monitoring: a review of current applications

Blood pressure monitoring has come a long way from the initial observations made by Reverend Hales in the 18th century. There are none that deny the importance of monitoring perioperative blood pressure; however, the limited ability of the current prevalent technology (oscillometric blood pressure monitoring) to offer continuous blood pressure measurements leaves room for improvement. Invasive monitoring is able to detect beat-to-beat blood pressure measurement, but the risks inherent to the procedure make it unsuitable for routine use except when this risk is outweighed by the benefits. This review focuses on the discoveries which have led up to the current blood pressure monitoring technologies, and especially the creation of those offering non-invasive but continuous blood pressure monitoring capabilities, including their methods of measurement and limitations.

A green eco-environment for sustainable development: framework and action

Following its 40-year reform and ‘Open Door’ policy, China has recently proposed a new approach to green development and rural revitalization—the idea of Agriculture Green Development (AGD), with the key feature of creating a green eco-environment. In this mini-review we introduce the definition, theory, framework and major components of a green eco-environment as a key part of the AGD. We define a green eco-environment as including four key elements or measures: (1) a green eco-environmental indicator system; (2) environmental monitoring and warning networks; (3) emission standards and environmental thresholds for key pollutants; (4) emission controls and pollution remediation technologies. We have used Quzhou County (a typical county in the center of the North China Plain) as an example to show how detailed air, water and soil monitoring networks, as well as improved farmer practices and pollution control measures (especially ammonia emission mitigation and PM pollution reduction), can begin to create a green eco-environment in China and that AGD is possible. We conclude by stressing the need to improve the framework and practice for a green eco-environment, especially the importance of linking proposals and practices for a green eco-environment with the United Nations high priority Sustainable Development Goals.
